Teaching

Third post! Woohoo! I guess I can talk about my day? Well I guess a highlight of my day.
I volunteer at a nursing home over the summer and this week is my last. So I volunteered myself to teach one of the residents how to use a computer and "surf the Internet." It went pretty well I would say. She really enjoyed it. I made her an email address, a facebook, a blogger and a StumbleUpon account of course! She posted her first post called "Learning Experience" she only wrote a sentence or two cause it's pretty hard for her to type since I think she has Parkinson's, which is pretty sad. She kept getting frustrated because she couldn't click on a link or because she kept holding on to the keys while writing her password and having to start all over again. But like she said in her post, she just needs practice.
Today I also taught my three year old sister how to use a laptop. At first she thought you used it the same as an iPad which was pretty funny, but I then showed her that she needs to use the pad. And to be honest she was better than the lady... She really got the hang of it pretty fast, my sister that is.
I'm still not sure if this is what a blog is supposed to be like but whatever haha

New Interests

This is my first actual post. I'm still not sure about what I'm supposed to be doing here but I guess I'll give it a try.
So I've been kind of been extremely obsessed with DIY crafts, knitting, and sewing lately. I don't know... The fact that you can make so many things with stuff you don't need anymore seems so cool to me. I've been trying really hard to learn how to sew and to be honest it is pretty hard. A week ago i made my mom a wallet from scraps of bermudas I cut up. It turned out better than I was hoping, but it was still a mess. Especially since it was a really hard wallet to make. Not to mention that it took me five hours to make, I barely got any sleep that night.

I usually find easy projects to do on StumbleUpon which is the best app/site I've come across so far. I guess I can talk about that on another post?

I stumbled upon this website that has 60 different things you can make using magazines, which is great since I have so many magazines at home. There was this specific one where it shows how to make place mats... which also involves sewing (good practice). I'm really excited and I hope they come out nicely especially since my mom has been wanting new place mats.
By the way... I'm not sure about why I named my blog "Imponderable Questions" since I haven't well... Been asking imponderable questions... Then again... This is only my second post. Maybe some questions will come to mind...

Hello!

So... This is my first time ever starting a blog. I'm not quite sure what to write about yet but I just wanted to say hi... So... Hi!(We'll see how this goes...)
